It’s that time of year when we say that we are having a quiet Christmas, not spending lots of money, only doing cards this year and no Christmas gifts. I mean let’s face it there is a recession on so this makes good sense. But how many times have we said the same thing and still, in the run up to Christmas end up spending more than we anticipated doing last minute shopping for unexpected gifts or just feeling left out of the Christmas spirit all together.
